One such business is Wraggs Supa IGA.
David Wragg and his father in law Con Peppas purchased an existing and well worn Food Works store in the Western Suburbs.
Con was semi retired and David had come from a secure position in middle management so the purchase represented a major step for the family. Coming from interstate David and Con allowed Bryant & Bryant to research opportunities for them and then conduct necessary due diligence work ahead of negotiating the store purchase terms for them.
Our professional approach to the purchase inspired confidence in the vendor who sold to our clients despite strong competition from other prospective buyers and when the right business had been found, our accounting and finance professionals worked to secure favourable bank funding for the project.
Further successful negotiations with IGA saw the store rebadged as a Super IGA outlet with an immediate lift in sales. Innovative store improvements together with planning and advice from Bryant and Bryant’s professionals has seen the store’s profile lift to that of a top ranking IGA outlet in less than 12 months.
Much work is still to be done but Bryant and Bryant are continuing to work with David and Con providing advice and planning strategic moves that will position the family to achieve even greater success in the years ahead.
